To start off with, I have been described by my buddies as a grey back.. no neck and most of my height from waist up. 6'1" with pants inseam of only 28". Most riders prefer the 1" collar, but having no neck the 1" collar chaff's my chin. When it arrived I was completely blown away by it's heavy weight leather quality stitching. The 531 was the Platinum 1.4 naked leather, I wanted a heavy thick vest. When this beautifully made vest showed up, I found out that it was heavier than two of my other other jackets combined. The club chapter recieved permission to use leather for winter vests this year so, after some research I ordered one from MCVests with some trepidation regarding the product quality. Look, I'm 64 years old and this is by far the best riding vest I've ever had. I ordered on in the fall (see my other review). I've lost 55 lbs since then so I just had to get one 2 sizes smaller. This one is just as nice as the first. You won't be disappointed.
